Jetsons Lambretta Club celebrates this year their 25th anniversary. One thing should be clear to anyone who knows the Jetsons: it will be vigorously celebrated. While the tanks are empty from time to time, here the glasses are always half full. Celebrated from August 14th until 16th in the founding city of Paderborn.
In the heart of East Westphalia, the local hospitality offers great conversations with drunks at the bar, genuine Westphalia cuisine (curry sausage with French fries and other dead animals from the grill), and, of course, the sheet metal geared scooter enthusiasm is the top priority! Invited are of course all Lambretta riders, all Vespa riders, all Carsuckers and also the riders/inside from all strange vehicles.
As a special highlight, the Jetsons have planned to raffle a beautifully restored and fully functional Lambretta 125 series 2 from Switzerland.
Jetsons Original Track:
After the positive experience with our bgm Test Bike and our Charity Campaign Scooterists for Japanese scooterists, it was clear that we have to stand there. Particularly half of the income from ticket sales will be donated to charity.
In a highly conspirative meeting with Hansi, the deal was sealed. The Jetsons draw another deep shelf in the bgm and pimp engine, suspension, electrics. We have made parts available from Casa Lambretta for the restoration of the Lambretta. The results can now be seen here and the progress of the project will be presented in the coming weeks.
– bgm PRO Race Tour 195cc Cylinder kit
– bgm Pro Clubman Exhaust
– bgm PRO Superstrong Clutch
– bgm PRO 12V Ignition
– bgm PRO Rotor
– bgm PRO Suspension Strut
– bgm PRO Additional Absorber
– bgm PRO Airbox
– bgm PRO Crankshaft 60mm 110 Connecting Rod
– bgm PRO Stainless Steel Rim
Tickets can be purchased everywhere, where the Lambretta is on display, whether in Custom Shows or scooter meetings and, of course, at the Silver Special Anniversary!
The first appointment will be in Kalkar at the SCOOTERIST MELTDOWN! Since our stand is side by side with the Jetsons, we are ready to answer questions about everything you might have in your mind. We are looking forward to it!
2014 was another great year for the Scooter Center. We have received a lot of feedback and listened to our customers. Thanks for all the great reviews and comments, but also criticism and suggestions about Trustedshops, Trustpilot and ekomi.
The Scooter Center Scootershop was awarded as the best scooter store, according to the Computerbild and the German Scooter Forum.
As a thank you for the most loyal customers, we are currently running a 10 € voucher campaign. You get the Scooter Center voucher here
During the last year alone, we have taken 10,000 new products into the product range, and a lot has happened also behind the scenes. Our priorities were to:
Further development and new product development as well as product development under our own bgm brand, with product the following highlights:
– Super strong clutches for Vespa & Lambretta Made in Germany
– bgm PRO OIL
– Proven Quality: Vespa shock absorbers with TÜV
– You can find all bgm products here: www.bgm-tuning.de
In the Scooter Center you can find all spare parts for scooters easily via exploded views. Here we have been particularly active, so far we have over 23,000 exploded drawings with about 500,000 product links available. And the numbers are rising. All exploded drawings can be found here:
On our own events, such as the Scooter Center Openday, we meet regularly our clients and friends. Our Scootershow 2014 was so far the largest and most successful Scooter Customshow. We look forward to the international Scootershow’15 on March 21, 2015 in Cologne. At our Scooter Customshow 2015 you can expect to see over 150 high-class international Customscooters.

21.03.2015 SCOOTERSHOW´15 Scooter Customshow 2015 in Cologne
Still mostly no snow yet: Cold. Wet. Winter. Your scooter is likely to spend the winter in the dark garage or in the grim cellar.
It is just before Christmas – but that comforts the real Scooterist who does not really hide the fact that the time now is not the best time for scooter riding! In this deeply melancholic time we want to give you the scooter riders hope and show light at the end of the long winter tunnel.
Things are improving: Today is the shortest day of the year – that is, the worst is over and summer is coming! How about a new Vespa cup of hot tea or coffee for as long as the summer is slow in its coming. It would also be great to have a new Vespa bath towel ready when summer finally is there – and it also makes one feel good in the sauna during the thumping waiting time.
Get your scooter out of the basement right now and make it a custom project for the SCOOTERSHOW’15! Again, this is the genuine Scooter Customshow 2015 on 21.03.2015 in Cologne
Your motto is more of “Chrome won´t bring you home”? Right now is the best time for an engine revision of your scooter. Using the Scooter Center exploded drawings you can find spare parts for your scooter quickly and easily! Choose here the scooter model or visit all exploded drawings.
And then something about the look: Paint care with our new ROTWEISS paint care products
You don’t know about what I am writing here? Are you always enjoying your scooter through the whole year? My tip: bgm PRO stainless steel rims and good winter tyres. With these on you just go everywhere: Sticky has raced through the desert having the Vespa rims.
By now – along with the desert theme – you should already be getting a bit warmer. But let us return to the harsh reality: Winter. Christmas! So to also leave some sense of Christmas spirit, you can look for bargains in our Advent Calendar (TIP: also retroactively) and win a super cool Bell Custom 500 Jet Helmet!
We wish you a terrific Christmas time with friends and family!
Your Scooter Center Team
#PURESCOOTERING
On March 21, 2015, we start the eighth International Scooter Center Customshow for Classic and Automatic Scooter in Cologne.
The history of the Scooter Center Customshows goes way back in time. Before we moved to the stunning location of AbenteuerHallenKALK, we already had organized Customshows outdoors for over 10 years. As part of our legendary Opendays event in front of the Scooter Center Store in Bergheim. These Customshows were at that time not nearly as large as today’s show – but the spirit was all the same!
We have always had awesome scooters on the show. The scooters have been lovingly remodeled with great creativity and technical skill with infinite amount of time and often with a lot of money used for really hot Customscoots. Blatant finishes, gold, chrome. Airbrush, colorful, longer, shorter, higher, deeper, louder and usually faster than the police permits or extremely rare and much older than the owners themselves. This is a diverse custom scene. PURE SCOOTERING
We all meet once a year in Cologne SCOOTERSHOW – the International Scooter Customshow in Cologne. The scooter changes, were have added many new scooters there. Many Custom projects have undergone a veritable evolution and were gradually further developed. Other legendary custom scooters are retrieved from the basement and remember today the wild beginnings of the Classic Scooterscene of the 80’s and 90’s.
Classic Scooter & Automatic Scooter. Vespa, Lambretta – Streetracer, Leiter, Dragscoot, Cupracer, Streesleeper, Speedfight, Aerox and Co – the true heroes are the ones who stand behind the scooters!
This ye are, that you are, and we really appreciate it! We plan and organize now and already looking forward to a great Customshow.
We look forward seeing you at the SCOOTERSHOW’15 on 21.03.2015 in Cologne.
You can register yourself with your scooter here: Customshow registration
In addition to the exhibition of scooters, there is a lot to see and to experience. In Cologne, the scooter scene will hit the season start. The Scooter Center and bgm will have new Scootertuning products on display and bargain-hunters will, again, find there many large and small parts stands. And, of course, a delicious buffet is also provided.
As great as the similarities are – also the music often share the spirits. We’ve learned a lot and in the 2015 event, we therefore are providing two separate halls with music – 2 Floors.
Here is the official HD video from 2014:
It was a long wait, but it was worth it! From now on we can offer you the a SUPERSTRONG clutch for your Lambretta. For the Vespa clutch system -regardless if Largeframe or Smallframe- the SUPERSTRONG range is the reference and setting the standards for all Vespa clutches.
The new Lambretta clutch features some very unique and special details. And it can combined with standard Lambretta clutch parts and plates. So you’ll have a clutch where you can get parts nearly everywhere and in the future as well.
The clutches comes as complete sets with 46 or 47 rear sprocket and can be used for LI/SX as well as dl/GP clutch operating systems.
All parts are available individually. The delivery of the complete clutch system contains:
The well elaborated design with ten springs and six plates gives a very easy and smooth to operate clutch unit. Even with the combination of 15 teeth front sprocket and 47 rear sprocket, which puts a heavy load on the clutch it can easy handle even the most powerful TS1 engines. Mathematical the combination is capable of handling 60 Nm torque.
You can choose between 46 or 47 teeth at the rear wheel. Plenty of windows ensure a lightened flywheel and enough room for the oil to enter and keep the clutch plates and bushing oiled all the time.
The sides of the rear sprocket are longer to give the option for different clutch plate and steel discs combinations.Together with the newly available bgm PRO front sprockets the drive train of your Lambretta can be uprated perfectly.
For a very smooth and accurate operation the clutch spider, clutch pressure and top plate were re-designed from scratch.
The CNC machined clutch spider is extended and the legs are perfectly matched to the pressure plate. This gives a very easy release of the clutch unit even under hard acceleration from a stand still.
The even pressure of ten instead of five springs even adds to this.
As invented by Sticky we have two threads in the clutch spider to make compressing the clutch a cakewalk. With two screws and nuts you can easily compress the clutch unit for assembly or re-assembly.
From now on we can offer you pinions for your Lambretta from bgm PRO in perfect material and “made in Germany” quality.
The pinions are made from high-strength, heat-treated steel in grades 16, 17, 18 and 19 teeth in one CNC piece.
The dimensions correspond to the original Innocenti, so that the chain line remains correct. The pinions are labeled for easy identification. Thus the reduction ratio can be seen in the installed state without troublesome counting as it pulls straight to the rear wheel.
Here is a brief overview of the common combinations of pinion, chain wheel, matching chain and the position of the upper chain tensioner.
We can offer you suitable chains from Iris in reasonable price range and Iwis in heavy duty quality.
In addition to the required special tools to replace the chain and the sprocket, you, of course, also need a
new fill of oil and seals for the oil fill and drain plug, and the transmission cover.
When changing oil, it is worthwhile to equip the gear cover directly with a sight glass – making the oil level in the gear always under control.
Already a few weeks ago, we asked our customers to participate in this project and send in photos of their ancient treasures. Now it’s done – just in time for Christmas, the legendary Blechroller Quartet 3rd edition 2014 has arrived at Scooter Center.
Our friends at Kerresinhio Quartett have put their heart and soul into this great quartet, which also serve a charitable purpose. Information here.
This lovingly designed card game about Blechroller (full metal body scooter) Vespa, Lambretta, and others, is a must for every scooter fan and collector – plus a great gift idea for scooter riders.
Fancy something different? This is a P range with 170 hp.
The idea was born in 2010. The building of the complete monster was started in September 2014 and is finished by now.
The engine and forks are of a Yamaha R1 and the Vespa frame is massively reinforced to sustain the power. Otherwise it would be folded together like a beer can. We hope to see this beast on the drag strips very soon!
This is the new Lambretta Long Range Tank from our American friends:
The Lifetime tank is the first Lambretta tank made of polyethylene (HDPE). As the name tells, it lasts a lifetime, and the days of stainless tanks and the associated problems are thus over.
BUY THE LAMBRETTA TANK HEREThe tank has a capacity of 12 liters, it has cutouts for carburetor on both the right and on the left side and takes the place that was originally intended for the tank, airbox and toolbox. The cutouts are chosen sufficiently large so that a carburetor up to 38 mm fully fits comfortably and still provides sufficient room for maintenance work on the carburetor and simple routing of the cables.
Mounting is very simple: Thanks to screwed-in rubber bushings, the tank is securely and permanently fastened.
For many years, it was no longer available and out of print, but now finally available again – the legendary: Vespa Tecnica 6 Colors.
See here the full history of the color shift – Vespa progress from 1948 up to date. With chassis numbers, color guides and original paint (!!) Max Meyer color codes.
This Vespa Tecnica 6 book is printed only in Italian. The standard reference for all Vespa fans but also for Vespisti which in the Italian language are not powerful, self-explanatory. Great gift idea for any Vespa fan!
This year was the third time for the Vespa Raid in Morocco. A six-day race over mountains and across the desert. But always winding pistes and slalom through football sized boulders and other obstacles.
In addition to the absolute physical fitness, that the driver must have, the achieved average speed counts less than the navigation skills. Because only with the successful drive through all the check points you will get the highest score.
For all the rivalry between the teams, the atmosphere of fair play and great helpfulness to each other is practiced. The biggest battle is against the adversities of the nature and not against the fellow racers.
Ferran, one of the organizers, made available for Sticky a pink Vespa PX on the road to enable him to expand his broad portfolio of racetracks. The Vespa PX is well prepared for this type of race and has proven itself in three desert racing seasons. Including the 2011 Pan-Africa Rally, which is the inspiration for the Morocco Rally organizer.
Despite of health problems (which may have had an impact on his top decking passion), he pulls up to 200 km per day on the Vespa.
Especially shock absorbers, rims and tires and the fragile engine housing are in danger to get permanently damaged or completely destroyed. In this picture the nice looking original black standard rim did not stand the stress:
On day 5 it is so far and Sticky get a puncture and broken navigator holder on mixed terrain. The navigator holder is replaced by gaffer tape and the original Piaggio Vespa rims are replaced by the bgm PRO stainless steel rims. The right decision! Not only stable, but also beautiful, the new bgm PRO stainless steel rims – who still needs chrome rims?
In contrast to the completely deformed and wavy rims, our standard bgm stainless steel rims presents themselves at the end of the race still like new and in non-dented condition!

Clutch pinion -BGM PRO- Vespa PX, Vespa Cosa 2, with 23 teeth and 24 teeth
As of now we have for you new clutch pinions from bgm in the program.
We have placed great emphasis on selection of materials, manufacturing and final ageing and testing of the pinion.
At the moment, we can offer you the pinion with 23 teeth and 24 teeth which is suitable for the 65 teeth primary gear of the PX200.
In order to eliminate the annoying count of teeth and ambiguity regarding onto which primary gear the pinion fits, we provide our clutch pinions with clear labeling.
Of course we have also already upgraded bgm Super Strong coupling 23Teeth and 24Teeth with our new pinions.
In the graph below and the accompanying table, we have shown you again the possible variants of the gear-ratio.
The combination of the primary 24/65 and a short fourth gear of the T5-125 with 36 teeth is particularly interesting for drivers of strong torque
Engine concepts with BigBox exhaust systems and Polini 221 and Malossi 221. This gear-ratio can increase the final velocity and
The transition from 3rd gear to 4th gear is designed for crisper connection.

PURCHASE VESPA SHOCK ABSORBERS WITH TÜV REPORTThe third endurance, organized by the Association Scootentole and Retro Scooter Nivernais on the long Club track of Magny Cours , entered a new phase:
Nice weather , beautiful track , the event is full of promises. Qualifying on Saturday saw the “official teams” confrontation during which , the 225SS Casa Lambretta steals the pole to the swift ” full Quattrini ” liquid cooled Vespa . Right behind , the Team Burzock LML PX 215 Pinasco engine created a surprise by beating the Squadra Corse MitoLambretta (AF Rayspeed RB20 ) and the german Dart Racing Team PK 150 Polini Evo…
On sunday, to the delight of drivers and spectators, right from the beginning of the race, started a track battle wich opposed the best Lambrettas against the best Vepas. On the Lambretta side, within the first hour, the Casa Lambretta boys had a broken crankshaft, while the MitoLambretta Rayspeed AF were still at the forefront, and the Lambretta-Authentik (RT195 MB Dev) was holding the 4th place … before breaking his exhaust. Seems Like Vespas were going to win the fight this year !
Vespa Pugenti Corsa Quattrini leaded ??the race from start to the finish, tremendous for a first participation! For the second place, the battle for the podium between four opponents, saw the Germans of the Dart Racing take the advantage over the French LML-Pinasco-Burzock (third and first largeframe), followed by the Spanish PK Racing Rolando Quattrini, and the Italian team of MitoLambretta. Ranked during a time in the top 5, the PK of SPRT (Quattrini), the PK of PRT-Korona (Falc), the PX Authentik (210 Malossi) and Old Scoot Racing (Parmakit 177), and the small Pinasco VSP21, due to falls or mechanical problems, were forced to back down into the rankings. … Despite the long track (tough for engines) and the hot sun, most teams classified in the first part of the ranking table, were those who experienced no major mechanical problems !
As previous years, this event went perfectly well, and what a pleasure to see the joy of the teams who managed to cross the finish line. This race is already a classic. The organizers hope that, a probable extension of the grid to 45 teams would make things even more exciting! See you next year !
