Die Vesparaba 2023 des Vespa Club Vitoria fand am 7. Oktober mit großem Erfolg statt. Fito teilte mit uns dieses großartige Erlebnis auf den wunderschönen Straßen von Vitoria-Gasteiz.

Am Samstag dem 07.10.2023 fand in Vitoria-Gasteiz die diesjährige Vesparaba 2023 Ausfahrt statt.

Ausgetragen durch den Veranstalter Vespa Club Vitoria mit freundlicher Unterstützung der Gemeinde Vitoria-Gasteiz, Provinz Alava. Sowie den Vespa Club España.

Wir sind nachdem wir uns am „Plaza de la Provincia“ getroffen und gefrühstückt haben mit etwas mehr als 100 Vespas und Lambrettas gestartet.

Die ca .100km Ausfahrt bei der wir gefühlt mehrere Wetterzonen durchquert haben, Nebel, Regen und strahlender Sonnenschein, in und um das Umland von Vitoria-Gasteiz war sehr schön.

Nach der Ausfahrt hatten wir die Möglichkeit im Restaurant Zapirón ein leckeres drei Gänge Menü zu genießen sowie die Auslosung und Verteilung von Trophäen (schönste Lambretta und Vespa im originalzustand weiteste Anreise etc.)  sowie die Merchandising Artikel die wir unter anderem vom Scooter Center erhalten haben zu verteilen,

an dieser Stelle möchten wir uns im Namen des Clubs beim Scooter Center bedanken.

Visit from Argentina

Ein alter Freund von Scooter Center war hier. Sebastian Alvarez aus Argentinien, er kam extra für die EuroLambretta 2022 in Belgien und die Euro Vespa Days in Portugal, und jetzt, wo er in der Nähe war, beschloss er, sich mit Ersatzteilen für seine Geschäfte zu versorgen, mehr über die Einrichtungen des Scooter Centers zu erfahren und uns zu besuchen.

Und natürlich musste ich dabei sein, um ihm in seiner Muttersprache alles über das Scooter Center und Köln zu erklären!!!

Geschichte von Vespa und Lambretta in Argentinien

aber wir haben auch die Gelegenheit genutzt, ein wenig mehr über die unglaubliche Geschichte von Vespa, Lambretta und der ganz besonderen: Siambretta in Argentinien, denn es ist eines der südamerikanischen Länder mit der längsten Vespa- und Vespa-Club-Geschichte, und wie könnte es anders sein, wenn die Vespa von einer Legende vertreten wird: Juan Manuel FANGIO, der argentinische Rennfahrer, der von Fachleuten als einer der herausragendsten Profifahrer des Weltmotorsports aller Zeiten angesehen wird, der fünf Weltmeistertitel in der Formel 1 gewonnen hat.

Mit so viel Glück hatte Sebastian Zugang zu schönen Schätzen seiner Kunden, wie dieses Stück mit von Fangio unterzeichneten Originalpapieren:

Der Ursprung der Siambretta in Argentinien beginnt in den 1950er Jahren, mit der Firma SIAM, die alle Teile importierte, aber dann mit dem Bau unter dem Namen: SIAM-Lambretta begann, der Wunsch nahm dann den Namen: Siambretta, der Erfolg war so, dass es die Produktion ganz national begann.

Das Kuriose an der Siambretta ist, dass die bekanntesten Modelle in Argentinien genau die ältesten Lambretta-Modelle waren, während in Italien die 200er, 175er, 150er usw. die “gängigsten” Lambrettas sind, während in Argentinien die 125er sehr erfolgreich waren. In Argentinien gibt es Kreise von “siambreteros”, die Motorräder besitzen, die aufgrund ihres Originalitätsgrades bewundernswert sind.

We are glad to have received this award a second time in a row. Just some weeks ago we were voted the best scooter shop by the German Scooter Forum (GSF), so by insiders of the scooter scene. But the award by Computer Bild and Statista, two institutions from other industries, are the finishing touch and a great award for our work.

Best scooter shop – for the 4th time in a row

The German Scooter Forum (GSF) has voted and we – Scooter Center – have won once more. Thanks to everybody, who took part and voted for us.

We are very proud and take this as additional motivation to continuously drive flat out, never to stop and to continuously strive for perfection. Promise!
One thing is already clear: also in 2015 we have some big surprises up our sleeves, which some of you very probably won’t expect – so watch out!

GSF-Dealer-of-the-year-Award 2014/15

Every year the largest German Vespa and Lambretta Community, with almost 50,000 members, takes a vote to identify the best spare parts dealer. Here the Scooter Center always convinced its customers with service, performance and innovation and was able to win.

No. 1 Scooter Center Cologne with 215 votes = 21.2%
No. 2 FalkR with 161 votes = 16%
No. 3 LTH with 109 votes = 11%
