Sommerfest des Lambretta Club Deutschland

Der Lambretta Club Deutschland hat letztes Wochenende herzlich zu seinem Sommerfest eingeladen. Das SCOOTER CENTER hat es sich als einer der Hauptsponsoren natürlich nicht nehmen lassen, da mitzufeiern.

Das Wochenende ging gleich mit einem Kracher los: den Busters! In privater Atmosphäre gab es die alten Hasen live –eh klar- und Open Air zu sehen. Da sind wir auch gleich bei der absolut stimmigen Location, dem Gasthof & Hotel der Klindworths (www.klindworths.de). Definitiv auch ohne Sommerfest des Lambretta Clubs einen Ausflug wert. Und nicht nur wegen der günstigen Preise für lecker Essen und Trinken. Süffiges, selbstgebrautes Bier, reichhaltiges Schnapssortiment, freundliche Bedienung, gutes Frühstück, perfekte sanitäre Anlagen standen das ganze Wochenende hoch im Kurs.

Summer festival of the German Lambretta club

Last weekend, the “Lambretta Club Deutschland” invited its trusty members and other scooter enthusiasts to their first summer festival. Naturally, SCOOTER CENTER, being one of the main sponsors, was a part of the show!

The weekend started with a bang: the Busters! In an intimate, familiar atmosphere the old hands gave an open-air concert. Live, of course! Which brings us to the great location – the Klindworth’s hotel, beer garden, and brewery (www.klindworths.de). What a combination! Definitely worth the trip, even without a summer festival, not only because of their reasonable prices. We got the chance to taste their self-made beer, as well as a rich assortment of liquors. Apart from that, they were able to jolly all guests along with friendly service, great breakfast and perfect sanitation.

Das SCOOTER CENTER Team ist mit großer Unterstützung durch einen Ex-Arbeitskollegen (danke & schöne Grüße von allen!) Freitag nach der Arbeit Richtung Sauensiek gestartet. Nach einem kleinen Abstecher ins Bremer Umland, um der-mobile-leistungsprüfstand.de/ abzuholen, sind wir leider erst nach Mitternacht in Sauensiek aufgeschlagen. Das Bier hat uns aber trotzdem geschmeckt. Samstag sind wir dann unserer Hauptverpflichtung nachgegangen, haben unseren Stand aufgebaut, einige Highlights präsentiert und Kataloge verteilt. Zu bestaunen gab es auch den Supermonza-Zylinder nebst Auspuff, den wir für unseren Freund Tino Sacchi präsentiert haben. Leider ist Charly Edmonds mit dem Tuningkit noch nicht 101%-ig glücklich. So wird es noch dauern, bis er verfügbar sein wird.

Das Fazit bei etlichen Runbesuchern war der Vergleich mit den legendären „Holiday in Holland“-Treffen. Die Engländer haben zwar diesmal noch gefehlt, aber das kann ja bei der Neuauflage 2011 noch werden. Wir fanden das Treffen in allen Belangen perfekt und bedanken uns bei dem Veranstalter http://www.lambretta-club-deutschland.de und seinen unermüdlichen Helfern!

On Friday, the team of SCOOTER CENTER started their little trip for Sauensiek (near Hamburg) with a lot of active support from a former colleague (thanks again and all the best from all of us!).

After briefly stopping by der-mobile-leistungspruefstand.de near Bremen to pick up a dyno, unfortunately we didn’t get to Sauensiek until past midnight. Still, the beer was good. On Saturday, we commenced business by setting up the dyno, presenting a couple of highlights and handing out catalogues. As a little special, we also presented the Supermonza cylinder alongside matching exhaust for our dear friend Tino Sacchi. However, Charly Edmonds still isn’t quite happy with his tuning kit. So, we will have to wait just a little longer until it’s available.

All in all, the comparison to the legendary “Holiday in Holland” scooter rally by a lot of our stall’s visitors should give you a good idea of how well this festival went. There might have been a lack of English scooter enthusiasts, but there’s still 2011! In any case, we had a blast and want to thank the organisers of lambretta-club-deutschland.de and their tireless team for a great weekend!
