I drive scooters since 1988. My first Vespa was a red PK50 S. My oldest scooter is a Vespa T1 from 1955, my fastest scooter (was) a Lambretta with 245 TS1.
Blues SC Scooter Club. I will never forget the scooterruns of the 90s, especially those in Belgium and Holland. I also very much enjoyed the gathering on Elba and the Nürburgring races. MaxSpeed-Festival and Scootershow.

Vespa Tecnica books

Why:

The books by Tecnica are a must have for every real Vespa fan. Beautiful pictures of original Vespas. Exploded views, colour tables. Much too good for the use in a garage. The books are collector’s items. HINT: These books are not available in ordinary bookshops. The prices on markets for, in some cases, used books are rather high, higher than the price for a new book at Scooter Center. These books are not cheap – but worth the money and almost a small investment transaction ;-)

Vespa Tecnica books
The book series by Piaggio is an absolute “must have” for every Vespa fan. There is an extensive chapter on any model by Piaggio since 1946 with numerous great pictures and technical details. In total there are five volumes.

What’s your relation to scooters:

My first connection to the world of scooters was a Vespa PK50 XL in 1986. This was the scooter for my first experience with scooter tuning and following several D.R. 75cc and Polini 120cc cylinders I bought an old PX200 in 1988. During the first years this scooter went through a metamorphosis from mod scooter to camouflage Skeleton Vespa. My next scooter was a GS4 with 160cc, which, 25 years later, still is part of my fleet.
Then I started fancying Lambretta and owned several SX200, DL200 etc. until 1994, when I built up the Lambretta Custom „Virtual Reality“.
I still drive the Virtual Reality and I also drive a LI150 series 1 with 195cc BGM R/T cylinder and a Rally 200 with Polini aluminium cylinder and a BGM Touring Big Box.

A somewhat different calendar for scooterists

Today we are ready to broaden our horizon – but not too much: Many scooterists had one themselves and if not, parents, uncles, aunts or brothers owned one: a VW Beetle and the VW Bulli, the handiest car worldwide.

The dream of mobility and independence turned the VW Beetle into a post war symbol. But this is not the only feature it shares with classic scooters like Vespa and Lambretta.

So this is a wonderful gift idea for scooterists and every fan of VW Beetle and VW Bulli: two beautiful calendars are now part of our product range:

Summer is coming!

Today is the shortest day of the year

Still mostly no snow yet: Cold. Wet. Winter. Your scooter is likely to spend the winter in the dark garage or in the grim cellar.

It is just before Christmas – but that comforts the real Scooterist who does not really hide the fact that the time now is not the best time for scooter riding! In this deeply melancholic time we want to give you the scooter riders hope and show light at the end of the long winter tunnel.

2. Summer is certainly on its way

Things are improving: Today is the shortest day of the year – that is, the worst is over and summer is coming! How about a new Vespa cup of hot tea or coffee for as long as the summer is slow in its coming. It would also be great to have a new Vespa bath towel ready when summer finally is there – and it also makes one feel good in the sauna during the thumping waiting time.
