Die neuen bgm PRO Vespa Bremstrommeln – von Rollerfahrern für Rollerfahrer

Diese Vespa Bremstrommeln sind erneut eine Entwicklung aus dem Haus Scooter Center bzw. bgm PRO. Alex arbeitet an einem Wideframe Vespa-Projekt. Hier ist ihm aufgefallen, dass die Bremstrommeln ein großes Potential zur Verbesserung bieten.

Dabei herausgekommen ist eine komplette Neuentwicklung Made in Germany aus stärkerem Material und mit einer super Performance. Da wir gerade dabei waren, haben wir auch gleich eine 9″/10″ – Bremstrommel für Vespa V50 Smallframes mit gemacht. In der Praxis hat sich die Bremstrommel bereits im Extremtest bewährt:

Hinweis: Die Bremstrommeln werden zum Schutz vor Korrosion eingeölt ausgeliefert. Vor der Montage das Öl bitte entfernen (z.B. mit Bremsenreiniger, siehe Zubehör). Wie alle Bremstrommeln aus Gusseisen korrodieren diese wenn sie nicht geschützt sind und Feuchtigkeit abbekommen. Zum Schutz kann die Außenseite der Bremstrommel mit hitzebeständigem Auspufflack versehen werden. So bleibt die Trommel auch optisch dauerhaft schön.

Los nuevos tambores de freno para la Vespa – diseñados de vespistas para vespistas

Aquí os presentamos otro producto diseñado y desarrollado en el Scooter Center y promocionado bajo nuestra propia marca bgm PRO: un tambor de freno. Alex, nuestro mecánico, está trabajando en una Vespa Wideframe y se dio cuenta de que los tambores de freno existentes presentan un enorme potencial de mejora. Entonces puso manos a la obra y desarrolló un nuevo tambor de freno – made in Germany, mucho más eficaz y de un material reforzado. Ya que estaba en eso, también desarrolló un tambor de freno para la Vespa V50 con ruedas de 9″/10″. Zini de Stoffis Garage ya probó el nuevo producto:

El tambor de freno funciona de lujo!!!!!!!!! Anduve en Vespina (con los retenes traseros defectuosos y un freno trasero funcionando muy mal) por las montañas, casi 1.000 metros de desnivel, usando solamente el freno delantero y no se sobrecalentó ni nada, ofreció un muy buen rendimiento de frenado. Este tambor de freno fue fabricado de hierro fundido de alta calidad, por lo cual ofrece enormes ventajas con respecto al tambor de freno convencional de una fina chapa de acero:

  • compatible con llantas originales y sin cámara de aire
  • no se alabea al calentarse

Aviso: Para proteger los tambores de freno contra la oxidación, se entregan aceitados. Antes del montaje es imprescindible eliminar el aceite (p. ej. con limpia frenos). Todos los tambores de freno de hierro fundido se corroerán al entrar en contacto con humedad si no están protegidos. Es posible aplicar una capa de laca anticalórica en la parte exterior del tambor para protegerlo.

Les nouveaux tambours de frein de bgm PRO pour Vespa – développés par des vespistes pour des vespistes

Voilà, encore un nouveau produit développé chez Scooter Center et commercialisé sous notre propre marque bgm PRO : des tambours de frein pour Vespa. Alex, notre mécanicien, est un train de se concocter une Vespa Wideframe et il a remarqué que les tambours de frein existants présentent un potentiel d’amélioration important. Donc, il s’est mis à la tâche et il a développé un nouveau tambour de frein beaucoup plus efficace, made in Germany et d’un matériau renforcé. Et puisqu’il était en train de développer un nouveau produit, il a également développé un nouveau tambour de frein pour la Vespa V50 Smallframe avec des roues de 9 et de 10 pouces. Zini de Stoffis Garage a déjà testé notre tambour de frein :

Remarque : Tous les tambours de frein sont livrés lubrifiés afin de les protéger contre la corrosion. Il est absolument indispensable d’enlever l’huile (p. ex. avec un nettoyant freins). Au cas où les tambours de frein en fonte grise ne seraient pas protégés, ils se corroderont lorsqu’ils sont exposés à l’humidité. Afin de les protéger durablement, vous pouvez appliquer de la laque résistante à la chaleur au côté extérieur du tambour de frein.

New bgm PRO Vespa brake hubs – from scooterists for scooterists

These Vespa bgm PRO brake drums have been developed by Scooter Center. While working on a project for the Vespa Wideframe Alex noticed that the brake hub required some improvements.

This lead to the development of a new brake drum, Made in Germany, made of strong material and with a top braking power. At the same time, we also developed the new brake drum for the Vespa V50 with 9 and 10 inch tyres. The performance of the new brake drums was successful, even in tough tests:

Please note: the brake drums are coated with an anti-corrosion oil. Before mounting the brake drum please remove any trace of oil (e.g. with a brake cleaner, see related items). Like all cast iron brake drums, these drums corrode if not protected and if exposed to moisture. In order to protect the outer surface of the brake drum you can use a heat-resistant exhaust paint.

I nuovi tamburi freno bgm PRO Vespa – da scooteristi per scooteristi

I tamburi freno bgm PRO sono stati progettati da Scooter Center. Proprio lavorando su un progetto per la Vespa, Alex nota che i tamburi freno possono essere migliorati di molto.

E proprio da questa necessità è stato progettato un nuovo tamburo freno Made in Germany, dal materiale robusto e con un’ottima prestazione. Avendo già avviato il progetto, abbiamo pensato di realizzare anche un tamburo freno da 9″/10 per le Vespe V50 Smallframe. Effettivamente il nuovo tamburo freno ha offerto un’ottima prestazione anche durante i duri test:

Il tamburo freno funziona alla grande!!!!!!!!! Ho partecipato al raduno Vespina (con un paraolio posteriore difettoso e un pessimo freno posteriore), tra le montagne e con un dislivello di quasi 1.000 metri di altezza, tutto percorso utilizzando solo il freno anteriore,  senza surriscaldamento, ottima prestazione frenante, fantastico!!!!!!!!!Citazione di Zini, Stoffis Garage

NOTA BENE: per garantire una protezione dalla corrosione i tamburi freno vengono forniti oleati. Prima di effettuare il montaggio rimuovere ogni traccia di olio  (ad esempio con pulitore freni, vedi articoli correlati). Così come tutti i tamburi freno in ghisa, anche questi sono soggetti a corrosione se non vengono protetti o se esposti a umidità. Per proteggere il tamburo del freno è possibile utilizzare una vernice termoresistente per marmitta che contribuirà a preservare anche la superficie esterna.
