Crazy Monkey Development - Shop

In our Scootershop you get the Crazy Monkey Development parts -> DCM almost firsthand. Because Wolfgang (the head behind CMD) insists on presenting his latest products to us personally and usually delivering them directly.

All he has to do is cross the Rhine from Düsseldorf and he's with us Scooter Center.

Animal innovation

If you follow Wolfgang privately on Facebook, you get the impression that he has grown fond of rabbits. On the Crazy Monkey Facebook page he speaks of the “monkey” and his products all have animal names.

It all started with the legendary snakehead - Carburetor caps. Since then, things have been beastly: the products usually fill a gap, solve a problem and are super innovative. Also through the material, because the CMD parts are manufactured using the most modern production methods, see below

Full of plastic?

One of the most common questions the monkey is asked is: "Why do you use plastic for your products?"

“Well, the answer is not that simple, but first things first: The monkey does not rely on cheap plastic, but on high-quality polyamide (PA12).

Polyamide is a construction material that is ideally suited for the production of series parts due to its diverse properties. In addition, some of our parts are made with classic manufacturing methodsmethods would not be representable at all. Certain undercuts and interlocking elements were extremely difficult or impossible to implement with most manufacturing methods (e.g. machining, injection molding). In addition, we use state-of-the-art processes for the creation, which enable the shortest possible production times at low costs. Another aspect is the conservation of resources that goes hand in hand with these processes. Less energy consumption and less material waste also means less and less damage to the environment.
