First of all, I have to say I couldn't believe how you built and presented this drop bar. It was clear to me, no matter what it cost, I had to have it.

There is only one thing to say about the workmanship: the gaps are perfect and installation was possible without any complications or problems.

The handlebar not only makes the Vespa GTS look sportier, but also practically. I fell in love with the new handlebar after just a few kilometers. On my first ride, the other Vespa riders' eyes were drawn to my new handlebar, and the questions at traffic lights weren't long in coming. I would recommend the handlebars anytime.

VESPA GTS 310 2025 parts

Vespa GTS 310

The Vespa GTS 310 differs from its predecessor, the Vespa GTS 300 HPE (which already had a keyless system), mainly due to the new 310 cc engine, which offers more power and torque with 25 hp and 28,9 Nm. The chassis has also been revised to provide a more stable and comfortable ride. Visually, there are new colors and variants, including the sporty SuperSport version with carbon-look details. Technologically, the keyless system is retained, but there are improvements in LED lighting, a revised ABS and ASR system, and more modern digital displays.

However, to go beyond the range of factory models in terms of customization, there are several brands whose range is adapted to this new model. Here we show you some:

Footrests with adapters

Piaggio chose the position of the passenger footrests in their GT/GTS/GTV models somewhat unhappily.
The CNC milled Moto Nostra with aluminum adapter position the original footpegs where they belong. The ergonomics of the seat are greatly improved, and long tours are also a pleasure. The noble anodized surface protects the aluminum and offers a fine look.

New windshield

The Moto Nostra Flyscreen is the ideal touring screen with a sporty touch and official approval.

With its small surface, the windshield looks nice and sporty, but it is already very effective in directing the wind over the driver. This is noticeably relieved of the wind pressure at higher speeds. This is often noticeable through a higher top speed. Due to the smaller surface area, crosswind sensitivity is also significantly better than with taller windows.

New indicators sequentially fade in – fade out

The MOTO NOSTRA turn signals have individually controlled LEDs and thus create a fully dynamic running light, as is known from luxury class vehicles (e.g. Audi A7). The light effect created is very pleasing and offers a pleasant change from conventional indicators. As an additional special feature, the indicators at the front have a bright white daytime running light strip. The same technology is used as a position light at the rear.

The MOTO NOSTRA dropbar handlebar is not only a stylish option for the Vespa Sprint, but also opens the door for future GTS custom projects.

This idea has been floating around in our heads since we introduced our Vespa GTS demonstrator five years ago.

We are now taking on the challenge of developing a drop bar handlebar that meets the legal standards for public road traffic.

Thanks to your comments and opinions on the MOTO NOSTRA Dropbar for the Vespa GTS, it is now a reality.

New regulation on winter tire requirement

The new regulation will bring changes for many vehicle owners, but not for motorcyclists. Road safety should be the top priority regardless of legal regulations. Master any weather with the right tires!

From October 1, 2024, an updated winter tire regulation will come into force: The M+S marking, which was previously sufficient, must in future be supplemented by the Alpine symbol. But there is also good news: mopeds, Vespas, Lambrettas, scooters and motorcycles are exempt from this regulation!

And that's because car and truck tires are tested according to ECE regulations No. 30 and No. 54. The Alpine symbol or the Three Peak Mountain Snowflake symbol (3PMSF) is mandatory for them. motorcycle tires fall under the ECE Regulation No. 75, which does not provide for such marking. Therefore, motorcycle tires will not have to carry the Alpine symbol in the future.

Driving without winter tires – is that advisable?

And even if the use of winter tires is not mandatory in winter road conditions, it is always advisable to use tires with optimal grip.

Some of the benefits of winter tires are:

Shortened braking distance and stable braking behavior,
excellent grip at low temperatures,
best adhesion in wet and winter road conditions.

For safe journeys in winter, we therefore voluntarily recommend the use of winter tires – also for scooters.

Cal-Lambity 2024

From Friday to Sunday September 29th, the Lambretta Club of California brought together 80 or more Lambrettas and 120 people at Cal-Lambity 2024 in Morro Bay, California.
The Saturday night event was special as 100 people turned out for the DJ, scooter prizes and raffles.

Lambretta & Nocino – Chapter IX – Lambretta Club Modena

Lambretta Club Modena celebrated the Lambretta & Nocino Rally on 28.09.2024 and was a success with the participation of 191 motorcycles from all over Italy, a record.

Next year the LCM will celebrate its tenth anniversary 27.09.2025

Essex Scooterists rideout 2024 – Charity

The Essex Scooterists organize a charity ride every year in aid of the Lennox Children's Cancer Fund. This was the third year in a row.

With over 150 scooters, the rideouts have always been well attended. Each year around £2.000 is raised for the Essex-based children's cancer charity And this year, on Sunday 29 September 2024, an incredible £2200 together, and 256 Scooters were there.

We congratulate the Essex Scooterists and Ben Tushaw for their efforts. Thank you for including us in this great campaign!

and in addition to the photos, we also received an email directly from the foundation. This touches us particularly, because it gives the small contributions that the Scooter Center through sponsoring such events makes sense. The applause always goes to the clubs that make this possible.

Care Grants are awarded to families struggling with the financial consequences of a child's cancer. These grants can be used for a variety of expenses, such as travel to and from the numerous hospital visits, household bills, or special equipment the child needs.

Emotional support Our families receive support through our personal 24-hour contact as well as through the provision of professional therapy and counseling.

Practical support receive support from our families through assistance in completing hospital forms, assistance with financial claims, and information about treatment procedures.

recreational stays in our holiday home in Norfolk or at New Forest Lodge, provide the families we support with a much-needed break from hospitals, doctors and treatments, where everyone can recover, relax and spend time as a 'normal' family. These stays are completely free of charge and are supported with an allowance.

VESPARABA 2024 – Vespa Club Vitoria

Also this year we present you the VESPARABA, the route through Álava on Vespa or Lambretta, which is organized by Vespa Club Vitoria in collaboration with the Diputación Foral de Álava and the Scooter Center is organized.

In this way, VESPARABA is advertised on the Internet, in social networks, on posters and flyers.

On October 5, the day of the Vesparaba 2024, the Plaza de la Provincia in Vitoria-Gasteiz was filled with colour and sound thanks to the 140 Vespas and Lambrettas that arrived from the neighbouring provinces of Vizcaya, Guipúzcoa, Logroño, Burgos and Navarra, as well as from Barcelona, Madrid and Asturias.

A 100 km route to visit La Rioja.

The participants had the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful scenery, the smell of two-stroke engines and extensive discussions about mechanics, motorcycles and fuel, etc.

At ten o'clock the tour began, which began with Puerto de Vitoria, Bernedo, Puerto de la Aldea, Laguardia and finally Elciego, where we had lunch. The route and the landscape are impressive, with vineyards along the roadsides and the special smell of earth and wine.

The return trip to Vitoria via Leza and the first-class Puerto de Herrera with gradients of 14% put all the scooters to the test. Once in Vitoria, there was a brotherly meal and the distribution of prizes and gifts.
