The countdown is running and we can’t stand it that it is finished. but we have to wait until next. Next Saturday the the 3rd SCOOTER CENTER Customshow takes place in Cologne. Web site: www.scootershow.de

The main acts are chosen out from more than 200 application we were only able to take 150 of the nicest Customscoots of Europe.

Beside the scoots there will be lots of stunning sideacts for the exhibitors and visitors.

There will be trade stalls, there will be a bike driving simulation from ADAC. Polini and IXS do have a merchandise for the Scootershow entrances as well as for the visitors. If you have been at the shows before, you know nobody has to go home with empty hands. Weiterlesen

SSC Glessen Hallen-Kreismeister Rhein Erft 2010COOTER CENTER aids new blood:

Since 2008 we are sponsoring a complete football team. This year they fetched the cup ;-)

Since 2006 the mates started as „Bambinis“ at SC Glessen (Sport Club – not: Scooter Club). In the meantime they grow into the „F1“ group.

Last weekend the football hall championship for the Rhein Erft area hold place. With 80 teams taking place in the tournament the F1 of SC Glessen brought home the cup. So they can be proud to add Hallen-Kreismeister-Rhein Erft 2010 to their achievments!

Last weekend we have been out for the Customshow in Ried/Austria.

After the 700 km trip it was a pleasure to meet Stoffi and his team. And not just because of the beer he offered.

The place where the show was held was really amazing. A proper tradeshow place that was packed with scooter even on Friday evening. To make life easier for us on the next day, we built up our stall.

The dinner brought the delicious Austrian food like Fritaten Suppe, Wiener Schnitzel and so on. And for sure beer and wine, which we thought we have earned after this day. Sadly for some of us involved a deck of cards appeared…

Once again you should look forward for our big Scootershow. Beside of the roughly 150 Customscoots there will be our parts fare. Everyone can share, bring his parts and sell them. So probably you’ll find some nice bargains for your next project. Job lots and for sure those nice high end parts of the dealers displaying on show.

Finally they are here! The long awaited X-treme crankshafts from Airsal. And if thtese guys are saying X-treme they really do mean it: 45mm stroke!!! That gives with a 50 mm bore diameter 88,3 ccm. And with the 47,6 mm bore more than 77 ccm!

1. Italian Customshow in Riva

screen SCOOTER CENTER was glad to visit the 1st Italian Customshow in Riva del Garda.

A nice place associated with scenic landscapes, nice roads around the lake itself. Something you could really enjoy. Something we have seen at least while arriving and leaving. The rest of the time we have spend doing the Scooter Center stall at the Customshow and enjoying the weekend at the Do’s.

The Customshow was organized by Italian’s umbrella organization SIR and local club Corsi di Alpi. It took place together with the car and bike show „Motorissma“ and the Customshow had a massive hall downstairs. If you would have landed there by accident no one would get the idea that it was the first time for a scooter Customshow in Italy. Roughly 60 scooters were on display. There were more Lambrettas on show and the quality of the work was higher as well. Uncommon for us was that the show took place on two days. But even better so we had two Nighters for relaxing.

DSC_2822A very special affair at our Max Speed Festival were the Italian racing team from Berghem. The stunning sprinting Lambrettas were one thing, even nicer were the lads that ride these beasts.

Sauro ‚Tiranno‘ Roncelli, Francesco ‚Magher‘ Mazzoleni, Fabrizio ‚Nonna Vittoria‘ Gotti and Marco ‚Zio Mario‘ Cortinovis found lots of new friends in Germany. And most of us admired theitr work and the relaxed attitude towards life. After their 800 km journey from the surroundings of Milan, they took it easy during the morning and noon. The technical approval (formality) and to have a look at the racing procedure were enough until lunch. Anyhow it was their first time on a track with such a long distance. The usual distance for sprint meetings in Italy is 150 meters.

gbMSF – the clock is ticking: Saturday the 26th of September will bring you the second edition of our Max Speed Festival at the airfield Meinerzhagen.

The event will be sponsored by Red Bull. The even team will help out to provide wings to everyone.

Beside the high speed contest there will be the test riding area where you can abuse your scoot as you like it. Well known from the SCOOTER CENTER mzH – meetings.

The SCK – P4 dyno jet will be there and all runs are for free.
