Perfect season opening with our Scootershow

3rd SCOOTER CENTER Customshow in Cologne

That was a perfect season opening on Saturday! We are still buzzed away about the quality of the show and the relaxed atmosphere!

More than 2.300 visitors, 152 displayed Customscoots and a terrific atmosphere during te hole day! So once again the Scootershow was the place to be!

All attendends and all visitors a massive thanks! With you partyiing is the best!

Customshow Ried

Last weekend we have been out for the Customshow in Ried/Austria.

After the 700 km trip it was a pleasure to meet Stoffi and his team. And not just because of the beer he offered.

The place where the show was held was really amazing. A proper tradeshow place that was packed with scooter even on Friday evening. To make life easier for us on the next day, we built up our stall.

The dinner brought the delicious Austrian food like Fritaten Suppe, Wiener Schnitzel and so on. And for sure beer and wine, which we thought we have earned after this day. Sadly for some of us involved a deck of cards appeared…

1. Italian Customshow in Riva

screen SCOOTER CENTER was glad to visit the 1st Italian Customshow in Riva del Garda.

A nice place associated with scenic landscapes, nice roads around the lake itself. Something you could really enjoy. Something we have seen at least while arriving and leaving. The rest of the time we have spend doing the Scooter Center stall at the Customshow and enjoying the weekend at the Do’s.

The Customshow was organized by Italian’s umbrella organization SIR and local club Corsi di Alpi. It took place together with the car and bike show “Motorissma” and the Customshow had a massive hall downstairs. If you would have landed there by accident no one would get the idea that it was the first time for a scooter Customshow in Italy. Roughly 60 scooters were on display. There were more Lambrettas on show and the quality of the work was higher as well. Uncommon for us was that the show took place on two days. But even better so we had two Nighters for relaxing.

Team Berghem/Italia

DSC_2822A very special affair at our Max Speed Festival were the Italian racing team from Berghem. The stunning sprinting Lambrettas were one thing, even nicer were the lads that ride these beasts.

Sauro ‚Tiranno‘ Roncelli, Francesco ‚Magher‘ Mazzoleni, Fabrizio ‚Nonna Vittoria‘ Gotti and Marco ‚Zio Mario‘ Cortinovis found lots of new friends in Germany. And most of us admired theitr work and the relaxed attitude towards life. After their 800 km journey from the surroundings of Milan, they took it easy during the morning and noon. The technical approval (formality) and to have a look at the racing procedure were enough until lunch. Anyhow it was their first time on a track with such a long distance. The usual distance for sprint meetings in Italy is 150 meters.

Max Speed Festival Countdown

gbMSF – the clock is ticking: Saturday the 26th of September will bring you the second edition of our Max Speed Festival at the airfield Meinerzhagen.

The event will be sponsored by Red Bull. The even team will help out to provide wings to everyone.

Beside the high speed contest there will be the test riding area where you can abuse your scoot as you like it. Well known from the SCOOTER CENTER mzH – meetings.

The SCK – P4 dyno jet will be there and all runs are for free.

The starter field is really strong and here are some of the entrances:

Free tickets are available at SCOOTER CENTER for every order from 100 Euro onwards. The tickets are on sale for 10 Euro, sprinting is 5 Euro extra, vistors up to twelve years don’t have to pay.

MaxSpeed Festival 2009Ticket for our MAXSPEED FESTIVAL #2 on the 26th of September 2009. Event will take place at the air field Meinerzhagen MZH.

All orders with a total value of 150 € and more cann add a free ticket to their order. At our ecommerce shop the MSF -Ticket is for free when typing in the voucher code ‘msf’.

Simply put the ticket into your cart. While on check out you are asked for your voucher code. With typing in ‘msf’, you will get 10 € refundment.

Go Vespisti, Go !

Tutto buono, Servus, Ciao !

Approximated 5.000 Vespisti have partied like it have -probably- never been done before there. More than 2.000 scooterists have taken part in the ride out to the Großglockner (at 3.780 meters height). A rehersal for the wild night that had to come!

The main street was firmly occupied by the Vespisti crowd. Really twisting the melons of the car drivers with the Vespa having right of way everywhere and everytime.
The local bars decided to spin the local mix of Apres Ski Music with the things like DJ Ötzi, Wolfgang Petri and like minded stuff.

To give it a proper Run atmosphere Enzo decided to do some burn outs and bounced some rear tyres with Oliver immaculate Rally 200. The local cops looked surprised and thanks to the superiority of the Vespisti nothing else happened. So no arresting in Austria. Like times have changed…

st830118Now we are getting literarily. Some few syllables have to give you the complete picture of the atmosphere in Zell and all the things going on with our team.

“Today: 2nd day. For some of us the first day.
Cristall clear rivers. Tschüsch.
Less than 8 literes per 100 km. 11 hour ride on our GTs 250 & 300 and less than 3.5 literes per 100 100 km.

Vespa World Days – 1st day

cimg0982After a stop over im Munich for some proper Schnitzel and beer we arrived in Zell am See today.
Because of the cheaper price for Diesel in Austria – over 10 cent per litre savings, we tried to cross the border for filling. With the high tech dashboard reading 13 km coverage and only 10 km to go, all seemed to work fine. Despite for this hill and the sudden reading ood the coverage of 0 km.
