NEW in the Scooter Center Shop: CLICK & COLLECT – order online and pick up at the warehouse

Again new opening hours at the Scooter Center – from October.

From October 2020 the shop will be closed on Saturdays. From Monday to Friday the shop is open from 13 h to 18 h.

New is the possibility of CLICK & COLLECT (see below). With this you can pick up your online order personally from us. The collection is possible from Monday to Friday between 8 h and 18 h.

Why is that?

To be honest, this was not an easy decision for us. Our opening hours have hardly changed in almost 30 years. Okay, in the early days there was sometimes a sign in the window that was closed because we went on a run. Which wasn’t a big deal, since that’s where we met.

The times are changing and with it the service idea has to go along with it. In the last years the rush on Saturday was partly so enormous that the shop was full to the last place and numbers had to be drawn like at the supermarket counter. Our cash desk workplaces were filled to the last place and also the use of temporary staff in the warehouse to shorten the ways of the guys from the cash desk did not really ease the situation. A persistently unpleasant situation with long waiting times and much too much pressure. A situation that does not correspond at all to our service and service concept. But it also could not really be solved due to the limited capacities at the cash registers.

The Corona period has not eased the situation and we have come to the conclusion that we want to break new ground and thus make a better service experience possible. The fast and contactless pick-up by Click & Collect is intended to compensate for the limited opening hours of the shop.

When the Corona-related situation has eased, we will hold a Meet & Greet at our premises at regular intervals. Stay tuned!

Tip: Use Mo-Fr from 8:00 – 18:00 the possibility to pick up goods via CLICK & COLLECT!

We are allowed to open our shop again from Monday, we are very happy about that! Of course we have taken appropriate hygiene and distance precautions to protect our employees and customers.

New are the opening hours of the shop, which are valid from Monday, 20.04.2020:

Monday – Friday 13:00 – 18:30
Saturday: 10:00 – 14:00 Closed on Saturdays since November 2020!

During the week, our shop does not open until 13:00, otherwise everything stays the same!

Another busy week started here at the Scooter Center. Still with corona supplies, smaller teams and working in two shifts. Shift 1 is finished for today and the parcels are ready to be picked up by DHL, DPD and UPS.

Another sunny day full of work at the Scooter Center. We keep our distance! The newly introduced two-shift work system reduces contacts even further. This also applies to the work rooms of the home office.

We especially thank the people who keep the supply chain going! In order not to expose the delivery staff of DHL, DPD and UPS unnecessarily to risk, we concentrate exclusively on cashless payment & delivery and currently waive cash on delivery. Please choose a contactless payment method like credit card, Paypal and prepayment!

 

Webshop open

 

Corona is currently turning many things upside down and for the first time since 1992 the Scooter Center has to close the shop – probably by April 19, 2020. With this we are not only implementing the government order, but are also convinced that this is the best protection for customers and employees. ULDATE: Shop will be open again from 20 April

But we won’t leave you alone and will gladly support you by phone and e-mail. Check out our blog and watch our tutorials on the Scooter Center YouTube channel. The Scooter Center online shop is available 24/7.
