SCOOTER CENTER was glad to visit the 1st Italian Customshow in Riva del Garda.
A nice place associated with scenic landscapes, nice roads around the lake itself. Something you could really enjoy. Something we have seen at least while arriving and leaving. The rest of the time we have spend doing the Scooter Center stall at the custom show and enjoying the weekend at the do's.
The Customshow was organized by Italian's umbrella organization SIR and local club Corsi di Alpi. It took place together with the car and bike show “Motorissma” and the Customshow had a massive hall downstairs. If you would have landed there by accident no one would get the idea that it was the first time for a scooter custom show in Italy. Roughly 60 scooters were on display. There were more Lambrettas on show and the quality of the work was higher as well. Uncommon for us was that the show took place on two days. But even better so we had two nights for relaxing.

MSF - the clock is ticking: Saturday the 26th of September will bring you the second edition of our Max Speed Festival at the Meinerzhagen airfield.
The event will be sponsored by RedBull. The even team will help out to provide wings to everyone.
Besides the high speed contest there will be the test riding area where you can abuse your scoot as you like it. Well known from the SCOOTER CENTER mzH - meetings.
The SCK - P4 dyno jet will be there and all runs are for free.

Go Vespisti, Go!
Tutto buono, hello, ciao!
Approximated 5.000 Vespisti have partied like it have -probably- never been done before there. More than 2.000 scooterists have taken part in the ride out to the Grossglockner (at 3.780 meters height). A rehersal for the wild night that had to come!
The main street was firmly occupied by the Vespisti crowd. Really twisting the melons of the car drivers with the Vespa having right of way everywhere and everytime.
The local bars decided to spin the local mix of Apres Ski Music with things like DJ Ötzi, Wolfgang Petri and like minded stuff.
To give it a proper run atmosphere Enzo decided to do some burn outs and bounced some rear tires with Oliver immaculate Rally 200. The local cops looked surprised and thanks to the superiority of the Vespisti nothing else happened. So no arresting in Austria. Like times have changed ...

Some proper words tomorrow!
After a stop over in Munich for some proper schnitzel and beer we arrived in Zell am See today.
Because of the cheaper price for diesel in Austria - over 10 cents per liter savings, we tried to cross the border for filling. With the high tech dashboard reading 13 km coverage and only 10 km to go, all seemed to work fine. Despite for this hill and the sudden reading ood the coverage of 0 km.
We restored our old rusty Hoffmann Vespa for the Vespa World Days in Zell am See. With a new goods vehicle test certificate (TÜV). That's for Shure ;-)
