COC – ECE registration
ECE / COC approval in the Scooter Center Shop
The ECE mark of the Economic Commission for Europe (ECE) is also referred to as
- UNECE regulation,
- COC,
- EC registration.
You will find this ECE mark on any item, which has been approved according to ECE regulations. The registration is not restricted to the issuing country but cross-border approved.
You will recognize those products with an ECE mark in our shop when clicking on characteristics of the product in question.
MOT-registration
Please turn to your authorities to find out if you are also allowed to use an ECE labelled item without special mention in the vehicle registration papers.
The ECE registration mark is always made up of a capital “E” and a one- or two-digit number. Followed by a combination of digits/letters. The number following the “E” indicates which country approved the item.

EEC approval mark
You will find the EEC approval mark on those parts, which, oh wonder, have been registered according to EEC regulations. This is also a cross-border approval.
The number following the “e” indicates to the country of registration.
An EEC approval mark is always made up of a box surrounding an e and a key figure of one or two digits indicating which country approved the item (instead there might be an abbreviation for countries without allocated key figure). Next to the box is a combination of numbers.
