Vespa Racing Motorsport Park Bad Fischau

On Saturday the August 31 In 2019 there was MotorsportPark-Bad Fischau near Wr. Neustadt found a new one despite the extreme heat Participant record. Alone in the Trofeo PARMAKIT Challenger made 20 starters on the hunt for points for the championship. This time the route was driven clockwise, which presented many drivers with a completely new challenge. In this direction the course is smooth, but at the same time it is extremely difficult to find the right point to overtake.

The day's victory in the Scooter GP went to Paolo Birtele / Parmakit again, followed by Christian Rapf / & is Racing Team and Andreas Russ / 16ers. Birtele is now leading the championship with 12 points and we can look forward to whose favor the showdown at the last race of this year's championship on the Pista Azzurra in Jesolo, will go out.

Scooter GP Ltd. This time Günter Sedlacek, after his serious fall in the last race in the Rechnitz Speed Arena, won with a very strong performance, ahead of Herbert Siegl and Julian Köllner.

The victory in the street racer class again went to Christian Fleis, ahead of Christoph Carniel and Hubert Leitgeb.

By the huge starting field In the Marken Cup of our main sponsor Parmakit, the fights for all positions and even for the last championship point were hard to beat in terms of tension. For the first time, Maiko Jandl from Team JLP was able to win one of the two runs, which rewarded him with second place in the daily ranking. Third place at the Trofeo Parmakit Challenger went to Kevin Höfler Team SFR. This time, however, the victory went to Upper Austria to Christoph "Stoffi" Maier from the Stoffi´s Garage team.

Fantastic Vespa days on the Arlberg

In the 2nd Grand Arlberg Scootering from 22.-25. August 2019 were over 200 enthusiastic Vespa drivers from eight nations

in Lech Zurs am Arlberg. That could be done in wonderful mountain weather highest Vespa meeting in Europe can be enjoyed to the full by the participants.

On all four days, wonderful tours into the breathtaking mountains were undertaken with the group. To warm up on Thursday on the enchanting Rud-Alpe high above Lech and those who wanted to drive even more, took part in the Franzls-Extra-Tour on the Faschina-Joch.

On Friday we went through the lovely Lech Valley to the Hahntennjoch, with a delicious lunch break in Bschlabs at the Gasthof zur Gemütlichkeit. In the evening, the mayor Ludwig Muxel of the municipality of Lech officially opened the event in the “Postgarage” event hall and dancing to lively music from “Frechen Engel” continued until midnight.

On Saturday the almost classic Silvretta tour, leisurely through the Klostertal to Bludenz and into the Montafon. The ascent on the Silvretta High Alpine Road is a pleasure and a memorable experience for every Vespa driver. In the Piz Buin restaurant, a classic lunch break was held at Wiener Schnitzel and back through the Paznaun Valley and the Arlberg Panorama Road, up through the galleries back up the "mountain" to Lech at an altitude of 1450 meters!

Henrik from the Tyrolean radio station U1 ensured a lively atmosphere until late into the night!

On Sunday the final round of the wonderful village festival in Zug, with a driver and scooter blessing from Father Georg Fischer von Lech and Zug.

A wonderful weekend for the Vespisti from near and far, with a good, family atmosphere in a wonderful mountain world! The people of Lech were also positively affected by the colorful, Italian scooter feeling and enjoyed the days of the beautiful picture and the crackling of the engines in this unique alpine village on the Arlberg!

Powered by Scooter Center: On August 31, the VRA Cup 2019 will enter the fourth round at Motorsport Park Bad Fischau.

Entries are under the menu item REFERENCE now possible.

The registration starts this time at 08:00

Free practice and qualification runs take place in the morning, and after the lunch break, the first race continues punctually at 13 p.m.

The races take place at 13:00 p.m. and 14:00 p.m. and at 15:00 p.m. and 16:00 p.m.

At 17:00 p.m., the drivers of all classes can compete against each other in the superfinal.

The award ceremony and handover of the trophy will take place at 18:00 p.m.

ESC & VRA Cup 2019 in the Speedarena Rechnitz

3rd race event for the VRA Cup 2019 in the Speedarena Rechnitz

With the best weather and very summery temperatures, the third and last race event before the summer break took place on Saturday, June 29th. This event counted alongside the VRA cup also to the championship of European Scooter Challenge, and was therefore visited by a good 60 drivers.

Although the heat hit the drivers, it was still very hot in all classes. With a race win each for Christian Rapf / & is Racing Team and the Italian Paolo Birtele / Parmakit, there is a tie between the two title contenders in the Scooter GP class before the summer break. Andreas Russ / 16ers, who had a bad fall in the last race in Bad Fischau, was able to move up to 3rd place in the championship with a very strong performance in both races.

In the Scooter GP Ltd. Herbert Siegl / Horny Hornets won the day ahead of Manuele Fulgeri / Parmakit and Andreas Hergouth / Sanitary & Heating Hergouth.

In the street racer class, the day's win again went to Ric Fleiss.

The Trofeo Parmakit Challenger was once again dominated by the title fight between Kevin Höfler / SFR and Christoph “Stoffi” Maier. Although each of the two competitors was able to record a race win for themselves, Kevin Höfler is already leading the championship with a 44 point lead. With a really strong performance, Robert Sega / Pflegeheim Beer was able to make third place in the daily ranking this time.

The tours of the “Meeting in the South” lead the Vespisti through the green landscape of the Rose Valley, up the majestic Magdalensberg and in the course of a rally to the motherland of Vespa, to the border town of Tarvisio. For three years now, our friends from Innsbruck have held the Vespa Alpen Customshow, always a few days before ours Scooter Custom Show instead.

700 visitors 100 exhibitors

So again this year, despite rainy weather, 700 visitors dared to make the way to the Vespa Customshow 2017 in Innsbruck at the Meisinger dealership.

Strongest roller

100 exhibitors spared no expense or effort (longest journey Robert Zagar with 400 km) to present their vehicles in Innsbruck. In addition to the dynamometer, where the winners in the classes

Strongest Small Frame,
strongest Largeframe (32 hp) and
strongest wifeframe (15,4 hp)

were determined, there was one Vespa cake and a raffle with many prizes for the visitors.

An estimated 5.000 Vespa drivers have put Zell am See into a state of emergency over the last few days ...
The ride with about 2.000 scooters on the Großglockner (3.780m) was a highlight - but today Zell was rocked !!!

The main road was firmly in the hands of the scooter drivers and the drivers puked! Sure, Vespa has right of way ;-)
The local gastronomy provided the meeting with subtle après-ski music from 22.00 p.m. (by DJ Ötzi / Wolfgang Petri / AC-DC)
and so one tire after another was burned under the supervision of the local gendarmerie !!!!!

After a stopover in Munich and a fantastic schnitzel in the Ayinger Brauhaus, we arrived in Zell am See today.
The diesel is almost 10 cents cheaper in Austria - so the transit combination was driven down to a range of 13 km. It's just a shame that there was still this mountain between the gas station and us - and suddenly it was just there 0km range ;-) ...
