WHY FKM SHAFT SEAL
The material FKM (fluorocarbon rubber) is extremely heat, friction and fuel / ethanol resistant. Current premium fuel in Germany already contains an admixture of up to 5% ethanol per se.
In other countries the ethanol / alcohol content is even higher. Conventional Simmerrings / shaft seals can swell or soften when they come into contact with fuels containing ethanol.
The bgm PRO FKM shaft seals, on the other hand, offer a perfect protectionIn addition, FKM is compared to the conventional (blue) NBR shaft seals twice as temperature resistant, has one very good gas impermeability and is also very resistant to aging.
WHAT ARE THE SIMMER RINGS SUITABLE FOR?
An engine equipped with bgm PRO FKM shaft seals can therefore also be operated with E10 fuel (10% alcohol content). The high-quality brown sealing material is permanently alcohol-resistant and also for engines with suitable for high temperatures and high speeds.
bgm PRO FKM shaft seals are therefore suitable for all engines, regardless of whether original leave or tuned high-performance engine.
For reasons of environmental protection and in favor of maximum flexibility of the sealing lip, we deliberately refrain from additionally applying PTFE / Teflon® * to the sealing lip.
BENEFITS OF BGM PRO OIL SEALS!
The BGM PRO shaft seals offer an additional feature of double sealing. All shaft seals that seal against the atmosphere have a so-called dust lip. This is positioned in front of the actual sealing lip and keeps dust, dirt and moisture away. This further increases the already good stability. AVAILABLE INDIVIDUALLY & IN A SET The BGM PRO FKM shaft seals are available individually and in sets for almost all Vespa and Lambretta engines.
