These are the Jack fox Oil pans with sight glass for the older Vespa GTS models until around 2019, recognizable by the filler neck directly on the oil pan.

Never run out of oil again

If you follow the forums, you have probably already noticed one or the other engine failure as a result of a lack of oil.

This practical oil pan is a must for every GTS because it has several advantages. In addition to the spectacular look, the oil pan with sight glass is above all very functional:

  • It enables the oil level to be read off quickly through the oil window
  • With the level of the oil you also have the control whether the engine is horizontal when reading the dipstick, 6mm inclination already make a big difference between MAXIMUM and MINIMAL oil level!
  • In addition to these features, which give you a significant plus in safety, the oil pan is a visual highlight and a bit more individualization on your Vespa GTS!

We get the oil pans directly from Jack foxwho only Original Piaggio oil pans used for the renovation. Quality craftsmanship made in Germany!

We can offer you the oil pans in 3 colors:

  • Silver / unpainted like original
  • Black MATT powder coated
  • GLOSSY black powder coated

TIP:

Compare the oil level on the oil sight glass with the oil level on the dipstick, then you will have a feeling for it and can quickly and reliably read off whether you should refill some more oil.

This eliminates the annoying and sometimes complicated and imprecise checking of the oil level using the dipstick. A simple look at the oil sight glass before every trip and you know whether you can start or, better still, add a sip of oil.
It is also noticeable here how important it is that the Vespa is absolutely horizontal when checking the oil level – 6mm inclination make the difference between MAX and MIN.
With this oil pan you are on the safe side!
Only NEW ORIGINAL PIAGGIO oil pans are used for the production, which are laboriously reworked on the CNC milling machine for the installation of the oil sight glass.

Simple installation without drilling

The luggage carrier is simply attached to the top of the leg shield with the two brackets and fixed to the frame with the enclosed special angle plate. In addition, the luggage carrier is supported by rubber buffers on the frame and thus offers a very high level of safety. When folded out, the carrier platform has a pleasantly flat angle. This means that even a larger piece of luggage can be transported without covering the headlight. We have produced the MOTO NOSTRA luggage carriers in three versions:

Does the Vespa GTS disc also fit on a Vespa HPE?

Our small sport discs with TÜV for the Vespa GTS are very popular. Many owners of the new Vespa HPE wonder if they can mount the great little flyscreen on their new HPE.

The windshield is available in black, tinted and clear with black or with holders in chrome:

Yes! the disc fits on a Vespa HPE - a small modification provided.

Why does the bracket not fit without modification?

The normal mounting kit sits too close to the handlebar fairing on the HPE models.

Solution: Install and adjust the pane now

If you want to install the windscreen on your Vespa HPE right now, it is possible! By a small modification of the clamp on the holder by grinding, milling, the necessary distance to the handlebar fairing can be created here.

However, the expert opinion on the windshield has not yet been extended to the HPE models - but is in progress.

only the two lower blocks are affected by this necessary change. This means installation position at the bottom right and bottom left.

You can easily make this small adjustment yourself. To do this, please simply remove the disc and modify the holder, see pictures

New bracket for Vespa HPE

Of course we have developed a new mounting kit for the GTS HPE!

The HPE bracket kit fits even better from the angle to the headlight and then also has the modified clamps to allow sufficient clearance between the pistons and the handlebar fairing. We are currently unable to give an exact delivery date for the matching pane from HPE, but we expect delivered in the middle of this year.

10km/h higher top speed with your Vespa GTS 300 without changing anything at the engine?
With the changed SPEEDWHEEL tone wheel from Kübler Racing this is quite simply possible .
The tone wheel is a slotted steel disc on the rear wheel.
This is used to determine the wheel speed for the ASR / ABS control.

  • Plus 10km / h final speed
  • No intervention in the engine required
  • No problems with retrofitting
  • Not visible from the outside
  • No increased wear

REVERATING SPEED LIMITERS

Although the Vespa GTS HPE has more power at the rear wheel than its predecessors, the top speed unfortunately does not benefit from it due to an early onset speed limiter. This is partly due to the slightly faster speedometer display. At a real 120km / h the speedometer shows 130km / h already.
From speedometer 130km / h on, however, the on-board electronics regulate consistently.

FINAL SPEED

This is exactly where the new tonewheel from Kübler Racing comes in. What sounds like magic at first is ultimately simple physics. The new tone wheel has a modified geometry which now transmits the exact, real speed to the control electronics. Now the indicated 130km / h are also real 130km / h on the road. The speed limiter therefore also reaches a full 10km / h later, although the speedometer shows as much as before the conversion (130km / h).

Ideally the higher final speed can be confirmed by a comparison with a GPS speed measurement (eg via mobile phone) before and after the conversion.

ASSEMBLY & ASR RECALIBRATION

The exhaust and the swing arm on the right side of the vehicle (in the direction of travel) are dismantled for retrofitting. After the simple exchange of the tonewheel (screwed to the rear wheel rim / by 5pcs. M6x20 hexagon socket screws) only the ASR system is recalibrated, that's all. The ASR recalibration can be easily done by yourself using our manual.
