Climate-neutral parcel shipping in cooperation with DHL
GOGREEN is a new service from DHL for the CO2-neutral transport of your shipments - one of the first worldwide.
As part of the GOGREEN initiative, the CO2 emissions resulting from the transport are determined using a certified procedure (ISO 14064). In accordance with the goals and specifications of the Kyoto Protocol, these emissions are offset by climate protection projects supported by DHL.
Our active contribution to environmental protection
We as Scooter Center GmbH see us as a company committed to protecting the environment by acting responsibly. That is why we make an active contribution to climate protection, for example through the climate-neutral shipping of DHL products. The additional costs charged by DHL are of course borne by Scooter Center GmbH.
GOGREEN climate protection in practice
With the funds provided by GOGREEN, DHL implements measures in which the amount of CO2 emitted during transport is saved or removed from the atmosphere. DHL pays attention to a balanced mix of initiatives with regard to the geographical location and the type of projects funded, such as:
- Reforestation of the Amazon rainforest by the Amazon Rainforest Foundation
- Conversion of the DHL fleet to low-emission or zero-emission vehicles
- Use of green fuels such as biodiesel or vegetable oil
- Use of solar energy in the new DHL facilities
- Environmental initiatives through DHL worldwide
